A mega Hi-Tech Weaving Park is endeavoured to be set up near hi-tech & garment city, Hyderabad. It will be the state-of-art technology, Infrastructure and working environment in addition to pre & post weaving facilities. A company formed by Andhra Pradesh State Powerloom Weavers Association (Regd.), under section of the companies Act 1956. It is intended to setup the above park to facilitate the weaving industry to avail the beneits available under the Govt. Of India Schemes namely Group Work Shed Scheme (GWESS) for the decentralized powerloom weaving industry (GWSS), Textile centre Infrastructure Development Schemd (TUFS) along with Govt, of Andhra Pradesh's Financial & Develpment assistance under Industrial Policy announced and modernize weaving capcity by induction of shuttleless looms like Proectile/ Rapier/ AirJet / Waterjet /Mulit-Phase and latest technology knkitting units, at the earliest, to equip itself to face the challenges of the complete trade globalisation by the end of 2004
