The development Nanotech research in Taiwan is still in the initial research stages. Dr. Tom Lee has a vision to see Taiwan become a world leader in the industry. Dr. Lee, who holds PhDs in metallurgy and material science, gathered a group of influential scientists in similar fields to form a research and development center. He also assembled a team of factories with the capacity to mass-produce nanotech raw materials. Then, together, in 2003, they formed Nano-infinity Nanotech Co. Ltd.
Dr. Lee, who has many years of experience in the nanotech field and holds numerous international and domestic patents, took on the role of technology director at Nano-infinity. The company was founded for the purpose of applying nanotechnology to everyday uses and has already put several such products on the market. The combination of Nano-infinity's capacity to manufacture professional-grade nano powder, along with Dr. Lee's abilities in R&D, makes the company's future look very bright.
