As a basin that surrounded by the Cha ryung range like a folding screen, Jincheon is a clean area located in upper stream of the Mi-ho river in Korea. People say that this Jincheon area in Korea has the climate of heaven's blessing. From those old documents along with Korean history, Jincheon's trade was very flourished thanks to the abundance of products and no disasters. Jincheon Koi aquacultured in this good environment. From 1991, Jincheon Koi started aquaculturing koi and in 1994, an association of Jincheon Koi established. Then we started to export Koi, and in 2002 we were proudly designated as one of the 100 global first class commodities of Korea from our government. Also quantity of export has risen continuously. At first. We exported 300 Koi to USA in 1992 but from 1992 to 2006 the worth of 30 billion won Koi has been exported. We are proud of our beautiful Koi. Recently, our koi were awarded the Best Koi for its beautiful appearance in Holland Koi Show.
