Vruksha Foundation is a voluntary, independent, non-profit organization. It is a platform for farmers and unemployment people entrepreneurs.The Foundation are aimed to promote awareness about cultivate medicinal plants To sensitize National and International Agencies and Governments to the need to accelerate registration and support natural alternatives.The Foundation strives to teach farmers how to make medicinal plant pest control formulas and fertilizers for their fields. To provide correct and extensive information on medicinal plants and revive the usage of medicinal plants in day to day life..The Foundation encourages cultivate medicinal plants based enterprises, as a whole and has ties with the industry in general. Several companies are connected to the Foundation through Corporate Membership. However, the Foundation has no commercial interests in any company or business.Farmers NGOs and voluntary agencies support the Foundation.The Foundation has been implementing a programme for farmers in rural Mahabubnagar Dist, Andra Pradesh State, India to assist them to grow and use medicinal plants and high demand herbs or rare medicinal plants for Pest Management and as a fertilizer for their fields. The programme involves more than 5000 farming families spread over more than 500 villages.
