Starting as a plumeria collector in 1993 when our
President selected the location of his country home in Saraburi Province, because of the sandy and well-drained soil plumeria could grow well there. The collection of plumeria cutivars has become endless as the new varieties were found, until his 2 acres area being crushed with many trees and each continued to grow, the situation impelled the removal of other big trees if he would continue maintaining plumeria cultivation at this location. He decided to acquire a lager land in Khoayai in Nakhon Ratchasima Province where the temperature is cooler and more pleasant for building recreational resort for his own and group members. In 2002, along with his resort project for plants enthusiasts, he selected plumeria, oleander and canna as the decorative plants in the area. Quite a number of those were imported as well as locally acquired. Until today more than one thousand of plumeria cultivars are collected and keeping their numbers as much as one hundred thousand plumeria trees of different sizes as time passes.
Lilavadee has been selected to name the botanical style resort and registered for other services business as well as trademark for certain products. The plumeria nursery which was originally planned for landscape inventory and improvement of its own, as recommended by members we decided to put the plants on trade.
