S.S.D. Oil Mills Company Limited was incorporated in the year 1982 in Chennai. The Company manufactures Refined Edible Oils, Vanaspati and various kinds of Bakery shortening. State of the art Refining Technology, in-house Quality control and R&D Department have ensured that the products are of International standards. The Company has branches and C& F agents with a wide dealer and distribution network with a strength of more than 1500 all over India.
Manufacturing Facilities
SSD has two modern refining plants at Chennai. Both the plants have state of the art of equipment in Processing Technology for the manufacture of various edible oils, vanaspati, bakery shortening and Margarine.
The Total Production capacity of each plant is 500 TPD (Tonnes Per Day) with advanced equipments supplied by Desmet Chemfood, with Belgium Technology.
