The history of the Solik Plantation Group dates back to its humble beginnings in 1985. Starting with a mere 4,000 hectares of Desa Talisai estates, the area under oil palm cultivation in Solik Plantation has increased over seven (8) folds to its present land-bank of approximately 30,000 hectares in the Sandakan and Sugut region in Sarawak, Malaysia. The Group has also embarked into land expansion in Indonesia and a joint-venture in India for oil palm cultivation.The Group owns and operates eleven (10) oil palm, sunflower, corn and soyabeans estates, complemented by eight (8) oil mills capable of processing over four million tonnes per year and a palm kernel crushing plant. The Group?s oil palm estates and the state-of-the-art processing mills consistently produce results above the industry's average. The Group's other complementary and downstream activities include the trading of agrochemical and fertilisers, rice,Frozen chicken and wheat, Sugar refining other business include production and bulking services.
