Shu International, Inc. was incorporated in March of 1998.The company was established to import and distribute olive oil throughout the South Africa from a warehouse and offices in an old winery in western cape.Kathy Griset had worked in the industry for 18 years as General Manager, Inc. In 1998, Kathy bought the assets of the original company and established Shu International. and filed a dba for Western cape Olive Oil Company.Since that time, the company has grown to four times the size of the original , Inc. and has branched into other oils and vinegars. Besides olive oils, the company sells basic oils such as canola and soybean and also carries specialty oils such as avocado and macadamia nut oils. All in all, the company offers approximately thirty five different oils and a wide variety of balsamic vinegars.In January of 2006, it was decided to move the company into a new facility. The Agua Mansa Industrial Park is now the company headquarters. On the property, the company has a packing facility with two bottling lines, eleven blending tanks and bulk packing equipment as well as 55, 000 square feet of storage. The company also has warehousing facilities across the countryThe company is managed by an experienced and competent management team and looks forward to continued growth for the next decade and beyond.
