Agric Cameroon is an Agro industrial company created in 1990 as aprivate establishment to acquire, develope and operate extensiveplantations of tropical crops, it is a parastatal company owned bya board of private entriprenues. Currently it's plantations Cover atotal of approximately 41.000 hectares of land,38,000 hectares ofwhich is mature and of production stage. The cooperation constitutea workforce of close to 1.000 employees including temporal workers,making it one of the highest employer after the state ofCameroon. It's major products include Banana,semi finished rubber,Palmoil and Palm kennels.currently it grows mainly Rubber, oil palm andBannana. It operate 9 rubber estates, 6 Palm estates 4 rubberfactories and two Palm oil mills. The cooperationrecenly engage in a number of extension projects to enhance itsoperation andproductivity in the near future.
