UNIVALM is involved in the production of high quality vegetable oil energy from a variety of renewable resources such as oil seeds (xxxxx coconut, peanut corn, cotton, etc. );Two of its products, ENKOCO + ENKON was created in 1979 during the first Middle East War when crude petroleum oils is in scarcity. It was in this year that the Vegetable Energy Division innovated a coconut-base diesel-like fuel, lubricants and oil for 2-stroke engines; andIn 1983, the 1st Vegetable Energy Plant was constructed in Minglanilla, Cebu, Philippines with a production of various fuels (gasoline & diesel-likes fuels), lubricants and fluids.
