Sultan Food Export is a subsidiary of a well-known Turkish textile company, that exports products to over 70 different countries.According to Turkstat, Turkey is host to 10500 different species of edible plants. Of these plants, 32% are growing in the wild, such as thyme, bay leaf and pine nuts. More than 80% of the worlds thyme, bay leaf and pine nuts exports are from Turkey. Sultan Food aims to expand cultivated farming of wild plants, support ethical farming and market these unique products internationally.
