There are three different types of iranian pistachios.
1. Round (fandoghi)
2. Long (akbariahmadaghaee, badami)
3. Jumbo (kallehqouchi)
Different available sizes: The figures show the number of pistachios per ounce (284gr) unit.
1. Long type (akbari)
Available in sizes 18 / 20, 20 / 22
And 22 / 24
2. Long type (ahmad aghaie)
Available in sizes 22 / 24 and 24 / 26
3. Long type (badami)
Available in sizes 24 / 26, 26 / 28
And 28 / 30
4. Round type (fandoghi)
Available in sizes 26 / 28, 28 / 30 and 30 / 32
5. Jumbo type (kalleghochi)
Available in sizes 20 / 22, 22 / 24 and 24 / 26
6. Pistachio kernel in 10kg carton
Packing: Raw pistachio in 50-60kg bag and roasted and salted pistachio in 10kg carton.
