We are a part of branded group which is comprised of several entities responsible for trading in crops in various regions of the Russian Federation. The effective network of purchases in different regions of Siberia and other parts of Russia allows branded group to form large grain consignments to meet the needs of big companies regardless of their geographical location. In the 2007/08 marketing year it traded 160000 tons of grain with wheat accounting for over 80% of the total amount.This year a decision was made to extend our activities and to enter flour market. Our major competitive advantage is the possession of grain that we procure from local farmers. Unlike most of the local flour manufacturers that we supply with grain, our raw materials are not purchased through an intermediary, and this fact allows us to bring down the production costs.Our company is a member of the Russian Grain Union.
