Nagshanti is one of the Largest Traders of Maize in Karnataka. Maize trading was revolutionised in the form of Railway wagon loading from a Small town Ranibennur, which was a small trading hub until Nagshanti entered the fray. Exports to South east Asian & SAARC countries is a regular affair and Nagshanti is a brand which is recalled whenever related people speak about Maize and allied products. Now the exports include rice and soya in addition to Maize products
