Chepkoiyo multipurpose horticultural exporters was born out of the idea that farming can improve the living standards of people languishing in poverty. The company therefore encouraged its members to do passion fruit farming. The company has collection centre where fresh harvest from the farm is sorted out and quality verified before transported to market. The production shot by 20% of the target 65% production raising challenges on marketing the company's products. The members have decided to scout for niche markets for its products within and without. The current tonnage stands at 80 tonnes and production is expected to increase as more members are encouraged to join the company.
