Incorporated in 1978, the company was the pioneer exporter of SriLanka’s Fresh Fruits and Vegetables to the countries in the MiddleEast. Within a few years the company commenced exports of FreshCoconuts and Desiccated Coconut from Sri Lanka, and since thenExpolanka (Pvt) Limited not only sustained its presence in theMarkets of the Middle East, the Medittaranean, Africa, Australia,Europe, and the United Kingdom, but also continued to be SriLanka’s largest exporter for these produce, for several years. Since 2008, the company recognized the need to add value to itsproducts and used its dare to do spirit to venture into themanufacture of Dehydrated Fruits, Fruit Juices and Ready to EatFood Products which are distributed under the Mo Fruit andTaprobana brands. To meet the standards required in the markets,the Products and the Facilities of the Company have met the highinternational standards for HACCP, HALAL & OrganicCertifications.
