We have own Salak plantation in the village of Trimulyo - Sleman, Yogyakarta.
Salak (Salacca zalacca) is a very unique fruit, native to Indonesia. The best variety is from our region, Sleman - Yogyakarta.
The fruit grow in clusters at the base of the palm, and are also known as snake fruit due to the reddish-brown scaly skin. The taste is usually sweet and a bit acidic. The texture is like apple, and dry and crumbly.
The fruit is picked and peeled in a hygienic manner to ensure the cleanliness.
Vacuum Frying technology is applied in order to result to very crispy snack, completely dry with natural taste 100% reserved. Very sweet and crunchy (no flavoring additives and preservatives).
