In the municipality of Sopot village Ducina, on the slopes of Kosmaj, in the ecological zone, built one of the most modern multi-purpose drier for drying fruit, vegetables and medicinal herbs. Away from the Belgrade-Nis highway about 15 km in the vicinity there are no similar manufacturing plants in the fruit growing region in the center Grocka - Topola - Smederevo.
Energy for drying is TNG gas and in order to obtain dried organic products, and medicinal herbs, fruits and vegetables. The drier in 2010. implemented the ISO 9001:2008 standards as well as HACCP certification,
Functional work process is organized in two buildings.
The drying process takes place in the building area of 1,500 m2 in which there is:
- Eight tunnels for drying capacity of 8 tons of fresh fruit per tunnel
- Space for the preparation of goods for drying,
- Warehouses,
- Laboratory,
- Wardrobes with toilets,
- Offices.
The process of final processing takes place in the rehydrating building with area of 800m2 in which there are:
- Semi-product warehouse,
- Space for the final refinement,
- Storage of finished product
- Wardrobe
- Power Plant
The facility is equipped with following processing equipment for:
- Cleaning, calibration and matching plum,
- Rehydration, calibration, extraction of stone and packing
- Power Plant
