The Export Promotion Agency of Afghanistan (EPAA), established in September 2006 with financial and technical support of GIZ, acts as an executive branch of the Ministry of Commerce and Industries of Afghanistan
Since establishment, EPAA has been working on three main objectives: Marketing for Afghan Products including products development initiatives, simplifying export procedure and removing export barriers and enhancing exports capacity and awareness on International trade principles.

Vision:

EPAA is working for creating a persuasive environment for production and export in Afghanistan in which professional exporters can easily access to all kind of information, facilities and services needed to produce quality and price-competitive products in Afghanistan and to be able to export them to any potential market in the world.

Mission:

EPAA acts as an implementing agency of the export promotion policies of MOCI, promoting exports through exportable offer development tools, advising and advocacy, marketing, coordinating both the public and private sector initiatives to create an enabling environment for competitive exports while contributing to job creation.
