Namba Shoten is located in Bizen City, bordering the Seto Inland Sea. Despite a population of only 30,000, Bizen is well known for Bizen-yaki pottery, which boasts a history of over 1,000 years, and is also home to Shizutani School, the oldest public school in Japan.
Prior to online shopping, Namba Shoten started off as a food supermarket, with particular emphasis on the fruit and vegetable section. From 1996, we expanded into internet retailing, with the aim of providing "delicious fruit at a reasonable price".
Our core business focuses on purchasing the choicest fruit direct from the producers and supplying our customers with the freshest products at a low price.
From this year, we are expanding our wholesale operations to cover markets outside of Japan, and hope that we can be of service.
