Seed potato crops spread along the Curonian Bay, where dominating West winds form the best conditions in Lithuania for farming of highly productive potato seeds.Quality assurancePotato crops are carefully looked after, inspect for diseases, vermin and weeds. Seed potatoes are stored in wooden boxes in one of the most modern storehouses with automatic climate control, covering technological processes of ventilation, humidification and cooling. Appropriate ventilation and temperature regime prevent bacterial and fungous diseases from spreading and influence germinative capacity of seed potatoes. Every year around 3000 tones of various varieties of seed potatoes are being placed on the market.
