I am the Sales Representative and distributor for Gust Johnson Garlic and Produce. Gust Johnson grows the best garlic in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. His garlic variety is a 40 generation purple striped garlic. It has extraordinary strong sweet flavor. It's aroma is vibrant and very pleasant. The bulbs range in size from 1 1/2 inches across to 3 1/2 inches across. The smaller bulbs weigh in at 8 to 9 bulbs per lb. and the larger bulbs are 1/4 lb. per bulb. 4 bulbs per lb.
