The Ripple Group of Mauritius and Drexel Corporation Limited of Hong Kong have entered into a joint venture agreement to develop a land-based aqua-farm for the purpose of growing tropical freshwater eels, close to the eel farming and consumer communities in East AsiaWhen completed in December 2015, the nursery will have the capacity to annually produce 12,000,000 juvenile elvers as seed stock for eel farms in China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
