The first Bolloré factory was founded in 1822 on the banks of the Odet. The second in 1893, was created in the Cascadet Mill and specialised in the production of thin papers and *ette papers made exclusively from flax and textile fibres. But only when René Bolloré created the Odet Cascadet Bolloré brand in 1918, did the OCB story really begin to unfold.By the early 1950s, more than 140 billion - one in ten of the worldâs *ettes - was rolled with an OCB paper.
