D.A. Biz Solutions is a young company established by a highly motivated young professional; Dereje Alemu, on January, 2001. Even in its infancy, the company has been engaged in major research projects (funded by global financial institutions, government bodies and NGOs) and has undertaken various market researches, feasibility studies and project designs for private business ventures. So far, the company has managed to successfully broker the exchange of 6000 MT of red and white kidney beans, 4800 MT of Sesame and Niger seeds and 2200 MT of cotton lint. At a local level, the company has had good success in the inter-region arbitrage of grains and oilseeds and has developed a good reputation and relationship with major regional suppliers in the process. The company's prospects for growth, expansion and diversification are very bright considereing the drive and competence in its endeavors that it holds dear (in part evidenced by the fact that the company has come this far in such a short period of time) and the lucrativity of international business and business solutions in the globalized world of today.
