SNAP LOCK, Inc. was established in Battlefield, Missouri by Frank Norton as a sister company to FBN Metal Products, Inc. FBN Metal Products was established in 1986 as a custom metal fabrication shop. Frank found out quickly that most of the requests he was getting were for custom sanitary equipment for the food industry.After almost 15 years, Frank visioned an innovative new approach to conveyor systems to simplify the process while still meeting the inevitable change in the industry. This new unique line of pre-engineered sanitary modular conveyor systems was given its own identity, SNAP LOCK, Inc. in April 2000. Snap Lock received its patent on this revolutionary conveyor system in 2001.
