DUAL is a Brazilian agroindustry that works with the followingproducts derived from cotton: hull; meal; linter; crude andsemi-refined oil; and cake. Our experience began in the 1940s, whenthe patriarch of our family, Octaviano Herclio Duarte, began tobenefit cotton in the city of Limoeiro, in the State of Pernambuco.Fifty years later, in January 1990, we opened DUAL in thatsame municipality, in order to maintain this tradition.At the end of that decade, in 1999, DUAL opened its first branch,in Campo Novo do Parecis, in the State of Mato Grosso. There, weinstalled a cotton ginning plant; in 2007, we assembled a factoryand a refinery of vegetable oils. Motivated by the results of ourwork in Mato Grasso, we inaugurated, in 2009, our second branch,another oil plant, in the municipality of Pedra Preta.The standard of quality of our products is a reflection of the loveand dedication we devote to the culture of cotton, a characteristicinherited from our patriarch, who always sought to offer, throughcontinous work and the elaboration of partnerships, the bestproducts with competitive prices. We always monitor every step ofour production processes, from the careful selection of rawmaterials to the level of excelence of the finished products.Moreover, we consider essential to cultivate stimulating andsuitable work environment for our team.
